Richard.jpg RICHARD TULIO
President and co-founder, Richard has over 25 years of experience in pharmacy operations and management.  His extensive background in pharmacy contracting and purchasing, experience with the pharmaceutical supply chain industry and strong understanding of information technology enable him to lead the development of progressive services for today’s ever changing supply chain environment.  Prior to establishing S/T Health Group in 1998, Richard worked with Owen Healthcare (now a Cardinal Health company) in various roles in pharmacy operations and purchasing where he focused on design of systems for monitoring purchasing trends and cost avoidance, project management of new pharmacy operations and developed sales for Owen’s Meditrol automation division. 


Mickey.jpg MICKEY SHIVITZ
Vice-President and co-founder, Mickey has over 22 years of business experience focused on sales, marketing and healthcare contract management. Mickey is responsible for S/T Health Group’s sales, marketing and customer relationship activities. Prior to establishing STHG in 1998, he was a Director of Managed Care for OnCare, a national oncology practice management company, an Account Manager, with Healix Infusion Therapy, a Managed Care Specialist with Roche Biomedical Laboratories, and a field sales representative with 3M National Advertising, obtaining Commander Status in 3M’s Lifetime Sales Achievement Club. Mickey graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Advertising.

Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions, Steve joined S/T Health Group in 2012 with over 30 years of experience in supply chain contracting and logistics both inside and outside the Healthcare industry. His results oriented focus includes supply chain management, purchasing process development, automation, standardization of clinical and business practices and strong customer relations leading to cohesiveness of business units. Prior to joining S/T Health Group, he led a 980 million dollar supply chain operation for the CHRISTUS Health System. Additional past experience includes serving as Regional Director of Supply Chain for Columbia HCA as well as working with American Medical International (AMI) where he began his career.  Steve is a speaker for trade associations, hospital executive associations and supplier annual meetings and has been recognized by the Journal of Healthcare Contracting as one of the “Top Ten People to Watch”.  Steve is a graduate of St. Leo University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.

David.jpg DAVID WERTZ, R.Ph.
Director of Operations, David joined S/T Health Group in 2006 bringing over 23 years of experience in pharmacy operations, information technology and project management. He is responsible for management of core operations, quality assurance and developing and supporting new growth opportunities. Prior to joining S/T, he was a project manager for Healthlink/IBM on pharmacy operational assessments, system selections and charge master assessments and conversions. He was a founding member of the company’s quality monitoring initiative. Prior to Healthlink, he was a director of pharmacy and director of pharmacy information systems for Owen Healthcare (now a Cardinal Health company). David is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy.

Senior Consultant, Dennis joined S/T Health Group in September 2008 and has over 36 years of healthcare management and consulting experience. He is responsible for working with clients on consulting projects that include cost analysis and contract reviews. Prior to joining S/T Health Group, he was an independent healthcare consultant and has performed numerous operational and cost audits as well as assessments on various inpatient and outpatient ancillary services. Prior to 1998, Dennis worked for 22 years at Owen Healthcare (now a Cardinal Health company) and as Senior Vice President was responsible for corporate legal, quality assurance, education and training, human resources and international operations. Dennis is a graduate of the Duquesne University College of Pharmacy in Pittsburgh.

Quality Assurance Manager, Jo joined S/T Health Group in 2002 and has over 33 years of experience in pharmacy operations and support services. She is responsible for obtaining, organizing and verifying vendor and group purchasing organization contract and membership data that is used in the S/T price verification process and also serves as the company office manager. Prior to working with S/T, she was a project manager for medication management systems with HealthTech Solutions. Prior to HealthTech, Jo worked with Owen Healthcare (now a Cardinal Health company) in several capacities including administering national interim pharmacist coverage, performance optimization analysis, new contract transition project management and as a hospital pharmacy technician.

Linda.jpg LINDA COLLINS, CPhT
Verification Analyst, Linda joined S/T Health Group in 2005 with over 23 years of experience in pharmacy operations in both retail and hospital environments. Linda is responsible for quality assurance of contract, membership and purchasing data used in the S/T price verification process and review and verification of all claims submitted on behalf of clients. Prior to joining S/T, Linda worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas as a pharmacy technician. She has experience in pharmacy operations as well as purchasing, contract administration and inventory control for both pharmacy and central supply. Prior to St. Luke’s she was a pharmacy technician and buyer for a retail pharmacy. Linda is a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

 

DIANE TOM
Verification Analyst, Diane joined S/T Health Group in 2012 with over 22 years of experience in client relations, contract and regulatory compliance, and 8 years hospital experience in pharmacy inventory management and purchasing. Diane is responsible for data analysis and quality assurance for S/T Health Group’s price verification and pharmaceutical cost of sales consulting projects. Prior to joining S/T Health Group, Diane was manager in pharmacy operations at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, responsible for pharmaceutical inventory and administration of a perpetual inventory system.  Prior to UTMDA, Diane was vice president of marketing and business development at Pan Energy, Houston and general manager of supply planning and regulatory affairs at National Grid, New York. Diane is a graduate of St. Francis College, New York, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.


 

DOINA POPA
Data Analyst, Doina joined S/T Health Group in 2013 with over 6 years of experience in supply chain data processing, data analysis, item master integrity and contract compliance. Doina is responsible for obtaining, organizing and verifying client, vendor and group purchasing contract and membership data used in S/T Health Group's consulting services. Prior to working with S/T Health Group, she was a CMS - Item Master Specialist for Christus Health, being responsible for the Houston Procurement Center reports, Contract price updates, Item Master maintenance, and training new team members. Doina is a graduate of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics Faculty, within the Academy of Economic Studies – Bucharest, Romania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economic Informatics.
 


Martin.jpg MARTIN RUIZ
Data Analyst, Martin joined S/T Health Group in 2007 with over 5 years of business administration experience. Martin is responsible for obtaining, organizing and verifying vendor and group purchasing contract and membership data that is used in the S/T price verification process. Prior to working with S/T, he was an exports documentation agent for Maersk Line, Inc. Prior to Maersk Line, he worked as a web consultant with BP Engineering and ConocoPhillips where he was responsible for building an entire website for ConocoPhillips’s floating systems division and modifying BP Engineering’s internal website. Martin is currently a student in the University of Houston pursuing a degree in Psychology/Kinesiology.

Project Manager, Paul came to S/T Health Group in April 2011 with eight years experience in full-service Information Technology with emphasis on data integrity and network security. His responsibilities include facilitating the data flow from each departmental phase within the company’s internal processes to developing new technologies that make interfacing with our clients, wholesalers, and vendors more efficient.

Business Development Administrator, Amber joined S/T Health Group in 2008 with over 3 years of experience in management of sales, purchasing and business administration in Home Health, DME and Long-Term Care. Amber is responsible for client relations, marketing communications, advertising, and executive administration. Prior to joining S/T Health Group, she was a Support Services Coordinator with Sunrise Senior Living where she was responsible for internal/external marketing, database entry, presentations, training and recruitment of new team members. Amber is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Administration.
